Bottle @ Nederlandene. Nip. Shared with Peter P. Pours Black with a beige head and lacings. Depth. Roast, ashes, soy, coffee, Chocolate and smoke. The most integrated peated smoke to date. Smooth and full bodied. 4.4.

From tap at Borefts ’15. Aroma of malt, caramel, some toffee, hint of fruits, hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate to medium bitter finish. Medium body. Not like any other Wheat Ale I’ve had, lots of caramel malt and bitter hops.

From tap at Borefts 2016. Aroma is sweetish smoked malts, big smoke, touch of fruits and toffee. Did not get much juniper. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. A bit Rauchbier-like, though that’s probably a blasphemic statement. Anyway, it’s good.

From tap at Borefts 2016. Aroma is raspberry, Bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, prunes, tobacco, dried fruits, oak, dark malt. Flavour is medium sweet. Body is full. Pretty rich and complex.

From tap at Borefts 2017. Aroma is big rum and raisins, roasted malt, some booze, red fruits, chocolate, touch of tobacco, caramel, oak. Flavour is sweet with lots of rum. Body is full. Lovely rum barrel notes.

From tap at Borefts 2018. Roasty aroma with chocolate and tangy cognac, wood, dark fruits, cognac is a bit sharp, some alcohol, dark roasted malt. Flavour is bittersweet, body is full. Posh brew, though the cognac was a bit sharper than I expected.

From tap at Borefts 2018. Aroma is heavy on the laurel, woods, plenty of spicy notes, liquorice, caramel, leaves. Flavour is above medium sweet and mildly bitter. Body is medium. Interesting beer, bit heavy on the laurel for my taste, but overall pleasant.

From tap at Borefts 2018. Aroma is sweet honey with plenty of caramel malt, leaves, toffee, and more honey. Sweet flavour, but not extremely so. Body is medium. Nice Braggot, pleasant drink.

From tap at Borefts 2019. Grassy and grainy aroma with lightly herbal-ish tones. Picking up some bready notes. Nice fresh bitterness, low in sweetness. Nice grainy grassy Lager.

Аромат достаточно яркий хоть и не сильно разнообразный, наверно прежде всего кофе ощущается, но не горький, скорее слегка в бобы уходят, сухость есть, шоколад в меру сладкий, жженость достаточно яркая, есть изюм также. Цвет черный, угольный, пенка кофейная, тонкая. Вкус не сложный но при этом сбалансированный. Есть шоколад сразу, средний по количеству какао, лишь нотка сладости, затем уже кофе, сразу сухость, есть немного чернослива как будто. Отличный баланс. Немного скудно по общему количеству разнообрасзности вкусов, но все они хорошо выточены.
