(Draught at Prater Garten, Berlin, 25 July 2014) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark bread, caramel, prunes and brown sugar. Malty taste with notes of roasted malt, caramel, a touch of chocolate, dark bread and a fairly low bitterness. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Middle-of-the-roadish schwarzbier. Quite enjoyable.

(Draught at Prater Garten, Berlin, 25 July 2014) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, clean nose with notes of bread, hay and grassy hops. Malty, clean taste with bread, hay, cereal, hints of tropical fruit and a balanced grassy bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Typical for the style. Hardly exciting, but quite enjoyable.

Tasted on tap the 06/08/2014. Almost dark colour with medium head. The appearance is nice. Aroma has some malts, caramel and roast. Flavour it´s pretty the same as aroma. Medium to low carbonation and body. Aftertaste is very light. Next one please!

On tap at Prater Garten, Berlin. Dark mahogany with an off-white head. Malty aroma with mild caramel and herbal notes. Moderate to medium sweet, nice balanced with a mild bitterness. On tap at Prater Garten, Berlin. Golden with a decent white head. Fairly standard pilsner aroma with light herbal and grassy notes. Mild malty influence. Moderate sweet and quite well balanced. Nice enough on a hot day. (2014-08-03)

(Keg at Prater, Berlin, 20140420) The beer poured almost black. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had burnt malts and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, grass, caramel and bitterness. Aftetaste was sweet and bitter. A very nice schwarz.

(Keg at Prater, Berlin, 20140420) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grain and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was grassy and bitter. A well done balanced pils which despite the sweetness and low abv pleasantly dry.

Draught @ Prater Garten, Kastanienallee 7-9, Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin, Germany 10435.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity, light hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121221]

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, sweet burnt malt - caramel, light sugary. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, sweet roasted - burnt malt, sugary. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121221]
