Tap at the brewery - hazy gold - tart aroma of grape skin and pear - nice frothiness in the mouth - medium tart acidulated malt character - some white grape - soft wheat malt character - clean and refreshing, but not as complex as the better examples of the style.

Pint at the brewery - there’s not much better than coming home from the airport and grabbing an IPA at Station 26 before.heading to the house - I don’t even feel like writing about the.beer right now, but I guess I’ll say a few words - as usual with these guys, super clean malt base - assertive but not abrasive bitterness, especially in the finish, which is nicely spicy - the approach is.perhaps too sweet, a little sugary, but otherwise solid.

Tap at the brewery - hazy dark red - ooo, I really like the integration of the coffee in this one - the citric notes of the hops play well with.the lighter, more.fruity notes of the bean, and the heavier, darker tones of the bean work well with the malt character - creamy texture - medium sweet - spicy hop profile - notes of.vanilla and caramel, but no.heavy or sticky maltiness - the roast of the bean showw up and becomes a little much on top of the hop.bitterness, but otherwise interestinf integration of flavors.

Tap at the brewery - a hoppy-ass american wheat here - the use of lemondrop hops adds a quenching lemony/citric punch - wheat malt has a mild sweetness and creamy texture, bringing a finish the has the.overall impression of tangy lemon cream - nice warm weather beer - now.if only the.warm weather would actually come.

Pint at the brewery - clear dark copper - fairly clean and smooth hellerbock - nice, toasty vienna malt expression is really the showcase here, with touches of honey, grassy hallertau, a touch of green raisin, some spiciness on the tail end - warming finish has just a hint too much noticeable alcohol that lingers a bit on the palate - as it warms, though, this heat dies down and it’s just clean, rich vienna maltiness all damn day, son - really good.

Tulip at the brewery - I really appreciate the simplicity of the approach here - one malt (belgian pils), one hop (saaz), yeast, and candi sugar - it really allows the.yeast to be showcased well, and creates a subtle elegance that perhaps not everyone will appreciate, as they want a certain bludgeoning of the palate in such a strong beer - lightly hazy gold - nose has esters of pear and apple, white grape, grassy saaz, floral hoppiness, slight.minerality, very mild phenolics - flavor is.lovely, delicate, dry, and herbal/floral - nice to see in an american-made strong belgian - a nice saaz bite and moderate mineral create a nice dry spiciness - white pepper phenolics - pear esters, a touch of banana, but nothing strong - some sav blanc character - herbal finish - floral notes in the nose are a little soapy, but otherwise well-executed.

Pint at the brewery - dark copper with a frothy lace - toasty, biscuity malt nose, with some citric hop character and light ester presence - medium body - toasty, earthy, dry english maltiness, tasting almost like an esb in malt.character - an almost.leafy and mushroomy note - citrusy american hop character, but minimal bitterness - finish is a little watery and thin, with soke flavors of damp cereal grains - it’s decent.

Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/21/2015. Brownish-amber color with a medium foamy light beige head that recedes steadily. Small patches of lacing. Roasted malt, caramel and hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of toasted malt, earthy hops and toffee. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

An interesting and tasty iteration of this beer - has a bit more heft and a light sweetness - the adjuncts are.understated but make.their presence known - the vanilla adds nice aromatics - the citrus has a mellow.acidity that works.with the slight existing acids of the base beer and the gentle.savoriness/umami - light cocoa and lingering vanilla - tasty.
