Pint at the brewery - lightly hazy gold - decent session ipa - the addition of lactose adds a creamy body and texture, but also a bit more sweetness than I like in the style (lacks the crisp bite I’m looking for) - as is usual with this.brewer, the hop character is juicy and pungent, so good stuff there, I’d just like it drier and lighter in body (the lactose also adds a little.heft).

Interesting brew - bordering between stout and black ipa - slick texture - flavors of anise, prune, light smoke, sweetened black coffee, vanilla bean - flavor is fairly.sweet, with some cream and espresso - some cherry and char on the finish - good.

Quite an aggressive little guy, here - a little more malt-forward than their other ipas - but it dries out fast - also a bit more brash and agressive than they usually do, but not abrasive - lots of juicy citrus - lemon oil and grapefruit pith - assertive, high alpha bitterness, but as usual with them, it somehow does not.destroy.the palate - these guys could make.nothing bu IPA and I would be happy.

(The new canned batch is pretty damn good) Hot damn, these guys know their way around an IPA - lean, medium sweet maltiness just serves as a delivery vehicle for.explosively.citric hoppiness - extreme.bitterness, but no abrasiveness - lightly oily, highly citric finish - reminds me of Marble IPA - awesome.

Not really an ESB - more like an apa, probably due to the hops, as they citric, piney, very american - the golden promise does deliver a nice earthy whiskey note, though, so it might not be traditional, but it’s fairly tasty.

A marked improvement over their belgian table bier, but they still haven’t nailed it - clean pils malt - lightly floral saaz, notes of white grape and apple skin - not as crisp as I like , without the complex phenols I want, but a decent light belgian.

On tap @ Station 26. Pours a reddish brown appearance with a tan head. Quite roasty, dark chocolate, kind of chalky, herbal aroma. Low sweetness. Notes of plum, anise, dark chocolate, and figs. Pretty good.

On tap @ Station 26. Pours a dark orange appearance with a white head. Smarties, orange candy, papaya, tangerine fruity aroma with some spicy notes. Chewy candy flavor. Some caramel, thick sugar, citrusy hops. Goopy. Not my thing.

On tap @ Station 26. Pours a burnt orange appearance with an off white head. Caramel, pine, light resiny aroma. Some nice resiny hops in the mouth. A hint of butter in the flavor. A little goopy and a bit too sweet. The hops are done well.
