0.5l.... can I reckon, not bottle. Hmm. The bit about San Remo is correct. Pale golden body, medium thick white head. Grainy dry malty nose, bit oily. Empty taste, very light grainy notes, sweetish. Some floweriness. The taste ends with some herbal hop bitterness. Ordinary.

11/10 0.5 l bottle from a random supermarket in San Remo. It poured pale golden body with big head. Corn, eggy malt and some hay make its aroma. Slightly bitter flavor, corny and honey to eggy, simple, boring, although not unpleasant. Shorter, bitterish finish, made up mostly of corn. Typical boring and one dimensional pale lager, nothing near pilsener style.

Bottle (diky, Quack-Ducku !): Golden, clear, white lacy head; dry grassy-hoppy nose with sweet grains underneath; light, quite dry bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied bodied to thin; bitter-sweet finish with some residual sugars. Tolerable thirst-quencher...........

Bottle: Poured dark brown with a huge tan head. Aroma was roasted malt. Taste was roasted malt and sweet caramel.

Can. Very small head with short duration. Color is very pale yellow. Aroma and taste are malt, water and artificial lemon. Quite sugary.

Can. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Pale yellow colour. Strange artificial citrus and pepper aroma. Moderate sweet citrus flavor. Actually not terrible bad. Beer is detectable. Watery palate.

10/08 0.5 l bottle from Interspar, Udine. Poured golden body with medium sized head. Grainy and malty aroma, a bit unpleasant and industrial. Flavor is...empty, there are some malty notes here and that’s it. Very watery and thin body leads to no finish, or just some hints of hops. This is even worse than Pils original! Nothing too much unpleasant that it wouldn’t be drinkable, only dull.

10/08 0.66 l bottle from Interspar, Udine. It poured golden body with small head. Cheap malty aroma with some poor flowery hops. Flavor is worse, dusty and malty, quite unclean. Watery and thin in body. Some hops felt only in the aftertaste, which is short anyway. Not really a pilsener, and not nearly good in my opinion, as always from Union. Only drinkable.

0.5l bottle that heavy brought from Italy (thanks!) Not sure how different this one is from the Union Pivo (not having had that one in awhile) but it definitely is from the Pils Original. Poured a golden body with a small head that went away fast. Slightly skunky nose with some veggies and some graininess. The taste is mostly dusty hopiness with some very light lemon amd some boring corny maltiness and very light flowery notes. Very light cardboard. Kinda drinkable but highly unimpressive.

0.66l bottle that heavy got in Italy and shared with me (thanks!) This does seem different than the other Union beers. Poured a golden body with a small-medium sized white head that went away quickly. The nose is light, oily, with some dusty hopines. The taste is dusty, sweaty hop reminiscent in some way of elder, actually interesting. Very. very light maltiness, not that the body is heavy by itself. Not bad really
