Bottle at home, 31st January 2021. 2 great French breweries, wish I was drinking this at La Fine Mousse in Paris. Pours a clear chestnut brown. Atonal is booze, caramel and rum, dark fruits. Taste is smooth, well integrated barrel and barley wine, rum notes, wood, bitterness, some heat, very pleasant and well made

Too much added aromas, not subtle. At that point I don't think that still qualify as a beer. Purchased at La Caisse de Bières, Sèvres.

Tap at La Fine Mousse. Hazy orange golden with almost white head. Peach, apricot, sweet malts, soapy, grassy, bread crust, quite herbal, sugary, milky. Over medium sweet, medium bitter. Over medium bodied. Meh.

Tap at Les Trois 8. Hazy reddish with light pink head. Sweet berries, rhubarb, cooked raspberries, jammy fruits, Roosevicee, soft malts and a touch of grassy notes but it's mostly a fruit cocktail kind of beer. Medium sweet, light bitter and very light tart. Medium bodied. Nice but the fruits taste a bit cooked a not fresh enough.

On tap at Hoppy Corner, pours a hazy bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank hops upfront, with citrus, light resins, and caramel. Flavour is well-balanced, with resinous hops, pine, some tangy citrus, and caramel biscuity malt. The hops come through well, with caramel biscuity malt providing ample backing. Very good.
