Great beer starts with great ingredients.

We work with specialty hop growers around the world to find lots worth building a beer around.

Ultra Hopped Ale is what happens when that obsession comes together: vivid hop character, real balance, beer that asks you to slow down and pay attention.

The chase is the whole point. We just happen to brew it in Pittsburgh.

Pours a hazy, grapefruit juice color, with minimal head. Aroma is quite dank, with a green onion/garlic note upfront, along with citrus and tropical fruit. Flavors all follow. Soft mouthfeel. Moderate to above levels of hop bitterness in the finish.

Pours a hazy, gold-pineapple, with mid-sized head. Aroma is a bit muted, with some astringency, and a combo of citrus and tropical fruit. Flavors all follow (including the astringency) and are more pronounced. Mouthfeel seems a touch thin. Mild to moderate levels of hop bitterness in the finish.

(Keg at Musta Kynnys, 20260520) The beer poured yellow and opaque. Its head was medium sized, white and it lasted long. Aroma had citrus fruits, passion fruit, almonds and floralness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were citrus fruits, ripe peach, spiciness, floralness, resin and bitterness. Aftertaste had spiciness, resin, ripe fruits and bitterness. A tasty hoppy brew with good bitter finish.
