Description
Great beer starts with great ingredients.
We work with specialty hop growers around the world to find lots worth building a beer around.
Ultra Hopped Ale is what happens when that obsession comes together: vivid hop character, real balance, beer that asks you to slow down and pay attention.
The chase is the whole point. We just happen to brew it in Pittsburgh.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Hazy orange gold beer, a decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, slightly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied pale malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Cooling pine and a fair old hop spice bite. A light but annoying soapy note. Juicy-ish Riwaka exotics but they are getting masked a little by the hop spice which is starting to become a burn. Light semi dry finish. Not awful but a tad messy.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A mild to medium haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate smooth palate, a very mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Light pale malts, slightly thin bodied, sweet enough. Soft cooling pine and nibbley hop spice. Slightly tangy but bright hop fruits. Ripeish citrus with some of that (for me) hard to define Riwaka exoticness - fruity other! A pleasant if slightly ripe limey goodness on the close. Purdy good.

473ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with average to huge, creamy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, wheaty and slightly oaty malty background, minimally dusty, yeasty overtones, notes of sweet orange and ripe pineapple, hints of tangerine, white grapes, floral honey. Taste is mildly bitter, (citrusy) fruity hoppy, sweet-ish, wheaty and oaty malty, minimally funky and dusty yeasty, notes of sweet orange and pineapple, some lemon, white grapes, some overripe fruit, a touch of kiwi fruit, some floral honey; bitter hoppy and minimally alcoholic as well as minimally peppery spicy, yeasty finish.
Creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, prickly carbonation.
Rich, multifacetted, minimally "dirty", yeasty interference - very good.

Murky yellow colour and small white head. Rioed fruits and sticky straw aroma. Medium-bodied. Riped tropical fruits, pineapple, grapefruit in the aftertaste. Malty, dryish. Ok good but not great.

473ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with average to huge, creamy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity and earthy-spicy, slightly veggie, hoppy as well as spicy yeasty aroma, wheaty and oaty malty background, notes of lemon, white grapes, some orange, yellow stone fruit, hints of mixed pickles, white pepper. Taste is fruity hoppy and yeasty spicy, oaty and wheaty malty basis with some residual sweetness, hints of yellow stone fruit, white grapes, some lemon, white pepper, hints of gherkin, mixed pickles, brine.
Creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, dense, prickly carbonation.
Nice fruity partitions, strange yeasty and veggie interference - meh!

Number-coded can but unclear if it's a date. But this was released ~6/25/26 and drunk 7/21/26.
Very pungent upon pouring. Rich and intense hop with big acidity which I mistook for some alcohol at first. But I don't think there's any of that. Just a shit ton of hops. Sweet white grape is rounded somewhat, despite the slight undercurrent of pine. Lots of mineral and such from all the dry hop. Candied guava on the finish. Rich, deep, ultra pale malts providing honey-like intensity. For all the hop here, it also seems quite malty.
And indeed, it is quite malty. But of course there's hop coming at you from every which-way, as well. Guava, white grape, light pine bitterness and some dull alcohol on the very end. Needs just a bit more bitterness/pungency/dry hop intensity. The soft, rich, pillowy malts are comforting but just a shade too sweet. But this is certainly a flavor bomb and there are no significant issues. Promising stuff from a fairly young brewery.
