Description
Great beer starts with great ingredients.
We work with specialty hop growers around the world to find lots worth building a beer around.
Ultra Hopped Ale is what happens when that obsession comes together: vivid hop character, real balance, beer that asks you to slow down and pay attention.
The chase is the whole point. We just happen to brew it in Pittsburgh.

Dark gold with a large white head that left excellent lacing. Earthy and piney with hints of pineapple and sugar. There was an off note that lingered. Long finish. Medium body.

Murky yellow with a large white head that lingered and left good lacing. Earthy and citric with notes of pine and pineapple and a boozy presence. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Tap mad mex. Friendly clean fresh grapefruit nose. Taste is a muted rubber on top of hop sap. Not as bitter as expected. More civilized compared to most domestic IPA. More like a APA to me. Bitterness does build a little in the middle. Fairly flat. Long medium bitter finish. Overall this has an odd & unique flavor that I found interesting, yet I don't even like IPA.

This is really good. Way better than the other two offerings from them. Nice tropical flavor, with a hoppy, slightly bitter finish. Brilliant.

16 ounce can. Auburn colored pour with a small, creamy beige head. Sweet, caramel malt aroma has a boozy note. Flavor is bittersweet malt, toffee, vanilla and oak. Some dark, dried fruit on the backend.

Pours an unattractive color, almost looks oxidized, but the taste is decent. Peachy, white wine, almost oaky. Again, could be better, though certainly more enjoyable than yesterdays.
