Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a huge foamy orange-brown head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was brewed coffee, a bit of roasty malts and a touch of smoke. The flavor was coffee, toasty and roasty malts, wood, a bit of smoke and a hint of vanilla. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Ok.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a slightly hazy pale yellow color with a huge creamy white head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was faint and dry with cracker and a touch of perfume. The flavor was dry, bitter and astringent with notes of perfume and medicine. Medium length finish. Medium body. Not good.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a pale yellow color with a small creamy-soapy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweetish and yeasty with a bit of citrus and a touch of grass. The flavor was a bit tangy, fruity and grainy with yeast, grass and a slightly astringent note. Fairly long finish. Medium body. Pleasant for the style.
