Draught @ the brewpub, Frederick, MD. Pours very slightly hazy amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and malt, with notes of yeast. Rough and sweetish flavour of yeast, with malty notes and hoppy touches. Estery and malty aftertaste. Again, a laudable attempt at creating something really good, but the result is rather watery and mediocre.

Draught @ the brewpub, Frederick, MD. Pours nearly clear pale golden with airy white head. Mild aroma of malt and hops,mwith nites of yeast.nSweetish, estery and malty flavour with some faint, bitterish notes of hops. Estery aftertaste with acidic notes. Close to water. Waste of time.

Draught @ the brewpub, Frederick, MD. Pours hazy dark amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with some hoppy notes. Bitter, roasty and hoppy flavour with estery and malty notes. Frankly, it has all the ingredients you would look for, but it is still bland and thin. Disappointing.

Draught @ the brewpub, Frederick, MD. Pours clear pale golden with small white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast, wi notes of rice and mild touches of fruit. Bitter flavour of hops and citrus, with malty and ricey notes, and touches of fruit and yeast. Estery and acidic aftertaste. Reasonable but watery.

Draught @ the brewpub, Frederick, MD. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of coffee and yeast, with malty touches and hints of hops. Roasty and malty flavour, wit notes of coffee and lactose, yeast and hops. Estery and lactic aftertaste with malty hints. Well-balanced and flavourful. Quite decent.

Bitter, hoppy, leafy and citric flavour, with notes of yeast and malt, and touches of fruit. Citric and leafy aftertaste. Not as sweet as most Double IPA's, but quite nice.

On nitro at Calvert Brewing, not sure why, pours a watery deep brown/black with just a little off white head. Nose has some malt, soggy bread, perhaps some chocolate. Not much though. Flavor is watery malt, some brown sugar, some chocolate. Finishes watery. How does a nitro beer have this little body?
