Dark opaque black color, small off-white head. A bit ashy aroma with hints of licorice. Light bodied. Slightly ashy, tobacco, dark malts. Quite good, nice light porter, although not as good as their Porteroo.

330ml bottle. Pours black coloured with a small, tan head. Notes of sweet and roasted malts, dark fruits and coffee. Moderately sweet. Thin body, somewhat oily, soft carbonation.

Smell of ash, tar, chocolate. Very dark brown colour, high dark brown head. Aroma of tar, roasted malt, chocolate, also something citric to be noted. Finishes with coffee. Very bitter. Rich and well-bodied, especially considering the 4.2 ABV.

Sold as Pyynikin Kataja 1.086 Sahti (9.5 % abv). Smell of yeast. Muddy colour, no head. Aroma of banana and yeast, alcohol. Very sweet. Zero carbon. Oily and heavy.

Bottled, thanks tbone! Black, small beige head. Roasty licorice aroma.Mid sweet with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Despite its light body the flavour is potent and full of asphalt and molasses. Low-medium bitterness. Light with a deep darkness.

A brown yellow beer with a weak and blond head. The nose is strongly tart, some wheat batter, only hint of fruit esters. Taste is also strongly tart, some sweet malts, also slightly musty. Light+ bodied, low carbonation. This hefe is not convincing at all, too tart without fruitness, not even fresh. Maybe slightly contaminated?
