(Handpump and St. Urho’s Pub XIX Sahtipäivät) The beer poured dark brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized, sparse and it lasted long. Aroma had juniper, malts and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were juniper, sweetness, molasses, malty bread and low bitterness. Aftertaste had rye bread, juniper and low bitterness. A dry and clean sahti, bit unbalanced.

Tap @ St Urhos Sahtipäivät 2014. Hazy brown, thin white head. Rye, smoke, fruity aroma. Flavor has smoke, juniper, sweet banana, minerally notes. Decent,but a little messy.

"Cask" @ St. Urhon Sahtipäivät 2014. Aroma has banana, some strawberries and yeasty tones. Also alcohol is present. Flavour has alcohol, some floury and yeasty tones. Also some slight peppery tones. Aroma was nice but flavour is a bit simple and disappointing.

Bottle 50 cl. Golden, hazy with a huge and lasting white head. Hoppy aroma, with some grapefruit and spice sence. Medium bitter with a dry Hoppy end.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ The pre Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting, Ulfborg ]. [ As Rekolan Munkintie ].[ Trade by oh6gdx ]. Clear medium to dark amber brown color with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, sweet malt, light burnt, moderate yeasty. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, sugary, malt extract, light yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140228]

Bottle 50 cl. Dirty brown with a minimal lightbrown head. Aroma of malt, bread and dark fruits. Medium bitter taste with a dark fruit ending.

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland 28/02/14. Hazed dark amber with a moderate light beige swirl. Nose is dark fruits, dark toffee, light boozey waft, spice. Taste comprises dark toffee fudge notes, light smoke, earthy cocoa poweder, rye bread, spice, dark ftuit ntoes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.

A colablack beer with a huge and light brown head. The nose is strongly roasted, dry smoke, chalk and hint of salt liquirice. The strong flavours even the alc. % is this low. Taste of liquirice, smoke, some chalk, roasted coffee. After the aroma the taste is too short and light. Light bodied, too much of carbonation. Not very convincing, the appearance and aroma promises a lot, but after that too light at every way, unfortunately. Smoked and roasted, light porter.

Smell of hops. Amber colour, extreme white head. Aroma of hops, faint of licorice. Some earth and leaves. Mildly bitter. Could be more than it is. Flat carbon.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange to brown with a small white head. Aroma is toasted and caramelish. Sweet and caramelish. Bitter and toffee malty. Toffee malty finish.
