Taster at Cervecería del Valle Sagrado, Taproom Miraflores, Lima. Lightly cloudy, straw colored. AROMA- floral, meadow grasses, citrusy, malt. FLAVOR- neutral, slightly bitter, the same as aroma, apple. Medium bodied. Very decent.

Dark ruby with little beige head. Aroma is cocoa dried mint leaves. Taste is bitter mix of coffee and slight passion fruit sourness. Medium smooth. A bit itchy and rather flat. Graininess as well. Still ok.

On tap. Retaining off white head with trailing lace and gold color. A-orange-citrus/pine, some light malt. T-orange/pine hops with some bite, some sweet light/medium malt. Slight tanins at the back end.

On draft at the inca trail train station in Ollantaytambo, Peru it is a cloudy golden color with a white head. The aroma is citrus and the taste is citrus flavors. It was a very pleasant surprise and a truly nice beer!

On draft at Paddy’s in Cusco Peru. Pours black with a tan head. Flavors of coffee, with leather and tobacco notes. Bitter roasted finish. Nice stout.

Served in a pint glass at a cafe in the train station at Ollantaytambo, Peru. Pours a cloudy copper with an off white head. Aroma of grass and citrus. Flavors of grapefruit and oranges. After two weeks in Peru sampling a variety of beers, this one stands out as one of the best -- a finely crafted IPA.
