Bottle from Tenerife. STYLE NEEDS TO BE CHANGED TO belgian blonde ale Finding the brewer of the beer was very hard, I did numerous google searches following lots of leads and dead websites until I finally stumbled upon a brewery I've seen before.. Desinquieta - and yo and behold, they list the grito sordo beers as theirs, so that must be a confirmation. I named the beer just Grito Sordo Rubia, as nobody with the bottle in hand will ever suspect disenquieta anyways, label says brewed by jottocar and then shows an url to a nonexistant website. Anyays, on with the rating... Gusher when opened, be careful. hazy yellow, giant head. refreshing flowery mountain-mineral-waterish aroma, very nice and quenching. flavor is malty, crisp malty mostly, with a flowery hoppy balance with some bitterness. Also a bit of flowery belgian yeasty like flavor, which matches the gushing bottle a bit I suppose. I put it as pale lager - international / premium by mistake, after tasting I knew it was not that. Looking very hard in the fine print, it is even stated on the label as blonde ale. Decent easy drinking belgian blonde.

Clear golden to light brown, smooth beige to light brown head. Aroma is a bit malty, with a hint or sour grains, also flowers, Aroma reminds me of homebrew in both its positive and negative ways. Aroma might also remind me a bit about certain barley wines I have tasted. A bit weird. flavor is super nice, slightly caramelly but mainly malty and sweet malty flavor with subtler notes of sweet nuts and toffee. no sourness whatsoever, i think what I found in the aroma might be some pretty weird hop notes. Flavor is very straight, complex dry and malty, the ending is quite bitter in a very fitting way for the malt sweet brew, sold complex full hop bitterness that is not american and not flowery, not even herbal, just straight juicy hop bitterness. hops really brings out the best in the malty flavor. I put this as amber lager - international / vienna. Not sure this is the exact precise correct style, the brewery website was of not much help, although ingredients, abv and ibu and color is specified.

Hazy dark yellow, small white head. Aroma of honey, wheat, malts, flowers. Flavor is malts, sawdust, hay, rye? Tastes a little bit like a weizenbock.

Mild but well hopped aroma, green grapes, faint exotic fruits, sweet malts. flavor is quite hoppy, lots of pine and grapefruit, also a pretty solid malty base with a bit of rye sweetnes. The hops add up to quite a lot of bitterness, but it is good aromatic hoppy bitterness. ends sweet and bitter. alc. well hidden, a pretty soiid IPA. Aroma is much milder than flavor. Flavor is very tasty.
