Black with creamy brown head. Aroma is chocolate some herbs milky chocolate. Taste is slight sweet chocolate with lots of sour quite fresh melisse. Not too heavy. Only a bit oily. Medium body. Ok.

Brown with little white head. Aroma is vanilla, rum type phenols, pudding, hints of dried fruit. Not much aroma for a barley wine. Taste is slight bitter and sweet nuts. Pretty syrupy but incredibly watery for a barley wine. On the other hand might be the most quaffable barley wine i ever had. Actually quite enjoyable.
