Tap at Micro Bar. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma of roasty malt and citrus. Medium body. Flavor matches aroma. Not dry dry. A little malty- bitter and hoppy. Decent.

Nonic pint draft at Micro Bar in Reykjavik, Iceland. The pour is slight haze golden orange with a ½ inch light tan head. The aroma is lemon citrus, pine hops and a grainy malt. The taste is more floral than citrus, though there is still some lemon to the flavor, the pine is present as well and the grainy malt takes over for the finish. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a grainy malt finish.

12 oz can poured, courtesy of the Nacho crew. Thanks! Golden orange pour, bright, some haze. Plastic aroma, some straw grains, orange, soft hops. Flavor is more plastic feature. Odd, but could be much worse. Cool flavor, orange slices. Hop bitter finish. Not bad.

Draft at the Microbar in Reykjavik. Gold with a stable white head. Aroma is mango, pomegranate, vaguely floral. Taste is bitter, and the finish almost acrid. Lacks enough of a malt backbone to keep the brew in better balance.

Draft at the Microbar in Reykjavik. Black with a tan head. Aroma has strong roasted notes, but also burnt rubber & circuitry. Taste is bitter, dry, somewhat monotone with a dry, roasted bitterness. Body is medium, oily. Not the best example of the style.

Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with roasted malt and wet hay, leading to a bitter finish.
