Draft at the Microbar in Reykjavik. Gold with a stable white head. Aroma is mango, pomegranate, vaguely floral. Taste is bitter, and the finish almost acrid. Lacks enough of a malt backbone to keep the brew in better balance.

Draft at the Microbar in Reykjavik. Black with a tan head. Aroma has strong roasted notes, but also burnt rubber & circuitry. Taste is bitter, dry, somewhat monotone with a dry, roasted bitterness. Body is medium, oily. Not the best example of the style.

They’ve done the murkiness right like recreating swamp water in your frog aquarium. Some pineapple and mango - a lot of fruity hops. Not as much complexity as some of the mainstays of northeastern IPAs but comes out still good. Bitter finish with a touch of booze. Tap at Micro Bar.
