Bottle in Genoa, purchased from a small curio shop in the Genoa old town. Very dark brown beer, just about transparent. Big tan head. Light softish palate, semi dry. Mild dark malt with lacto and a little cafe latte sweet coffee. Trace of milk chocolate. Finishes frothy and dry with some minerals. A sweet porter and alright!

Bottle in Genoa, purchased from a small curio shop in the Genoa old town. Hazy amber beer, big frothy cream coloured head. Frothy palate, slightly soft. Very sweet malt with caramel and toffee and lacto. Mild hops provide dried fruit flavours and mild bitterness. Dry finish with a minerally bitter aftertaste. Not bad at all.

Bottle in Genoa, purchased from a small curio shop in the Genoa old town. Hazy gold beer, big fluffy off white head. Light frothy dry palate. Nicely balanced pale malt with super mild citrus hop. A little carbonated bite. A pleasant pils and really doesn’t come across as 7.6%!

Bottle in Genoa, purchased from a small curio shop in the Genoa old town. Light haze on this amber beer. Big creamy pale tan head. Light palate, a little soft. Nice malts here, smooth caramel toffee. Hops seem to have gone walkabout though! Where is the claimed Nelson Sauvin and Amarillo? Just a trace of fruit buried in the semi dry finish. Could easily pass as a Scotch Ale rather than an IPA as claimed on the bottle!

Bottled, thanks Bov! Near black, beige head. Licorice aroma. Sweet with full body. Flavours of tobacco and salty prunes. Long bitter finish. Intense, but quite well balanced.
