Bottled@GBBF2011. Hazy golden colour with mild grassy green notes, not much head. Aroma is rather hoppy with some earth, malts and mild toasted notes. Flavour is earthy, wooden, mildly doughy as well.

Bottle at GBBF. It pours black, with a thick light tan head. The nose is caramel, toasted sesame seed, coffee, leather, xmas pudding, smoke and liquorice. The taste is charcoal, cherry, toasted sesame seed, well-hidden alcohol, lactose, milk chocolate, liquorice and roasted malt. It has a medium body and moderate carbonation. A very drinkable strong porter, good effort!

Bottle at Gbbf 2011. Black beer lasting tan head. Choc fruit molasses liquorice but all in good proportion. Choc and damson fruit come thru well. Lovely beer and hides the alcohol well. Good beer

Bottle at Birroteca La Tana del Luppolo, Bologna, Italia, 25.02.11 Pours amber with white head, there is a touch of haze, good hoppy bite from the Nelson Sauvin and Amarillo. Bitterness stays, even a little stinging, touch of cheese on nose. Very enjoyable. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
