Thanks a lot to Knut Albert for a 330ml can of this one. Pours a hazy, red-brown body with virtually no head. Grapefruit and pineapple to the nose. Dark malts in flavour mixed with grapefruit and blood oranges. Bitter spices to a rounded palate (hotel room, Oslo 07.08.2010).

Draught at the brewpub, Doppelbock with honey
Dark brown color; compact head; it’s nicely served in a wine glass. Pleasant aroma, of honey and alcohol; very light smoke. Good body strength, malt flavor, quite sweet, caramel, chestnut honey. Strong ending bitterness. The alcohol warms the mouth. The only negative points: too cold, and a bit metallic mouthfeel in the end. Very good.
