Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black pour with a medium khaki head that recedes steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Roast malt, coffee and malt in the nose. Medium to full body with flavors of roasty coffee, dark chocolate and burnt malt. The finish is roasty with a coffee and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear straw color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lace. Grassy hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of mild spiced hops, citrus and roast malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a slightly hazy copper-gold color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Grassy hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of grapefruit, grassy hop and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Medium body with flavors of tropical fruit, herbal hops and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Light-bodied with a roasty peanut and malt character, with some coffee and chocolate in the background. The finish is sweet with a peanut butter and malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear orange-amber color with a medium frothy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Sticky strings of lace. Aroma of piney hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, lemon and roast malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lemongrass and hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
