Description
Xicha Brewing opened in 2017. It's known as Oregon's first and only Latinx-owned brewery, located in West Salem. The brewery was founded by Willamette University alums Ben Mendoza and Matt Dakopolos, along with local chef Ricardo Antunez.

Gold body with white head. Mixed hop and bread aroma. Malt spine with a thick hop skin. Hoppy finish. The alcohol percent is what I read from the can

Hazy orange body with fast dissipating white head. Faint fruity aroma. Nicer hoppy taste with herbs and some maltiness. Nice body quick finish.

Medium yellow body with white head. Malt and herb aroma. Mixed taste, spice, herb and malt. Aromatic with a crisp finish.

Light gold body with white head. Pleasant mixed aroma. Light to medium flavour with a little crispiness and a little sweetness. A good hot weather beer.

16 ounce can. Pours a light orange hue with a medium white head. A big sweet melon and toast nose. Bitter hops, quite green, sweet husky malts. Decent. Unrefined.

12oz can from the brewery. Clear golden pour with lovely foam head which soon subsides. Malty aroma with a touch of hop resin. Malty flavor, some cardboard notes, orange, piney hops. Slick, oily feel. Bitterness rises late and lingers.

16oz can from brewery. Pale, clear golden, white foamy head. Sweet grainy, malty aroma. Taste adds crispy hops to the bready malts, giving it a pils like snap at the finish.

16oz can from Xicha. Clear good laden pour with a one finger fluffy head. Grainy, biscuity aroma. Taste is sweet, more robust malty flavors with a faint bite at the finish. Smooth, great on a hot day.
