Slightly dull gold colour. The aroma is slightly caramelly. The taste is sweet, with a caramelly, lightly fruity character. Relatively clean but dull beer.

Hazy dull blonde. Medium head. Aroma of apple, light malt, and a bit of yeastiness. Fairly clean, but for a slight appley note. Has a hint of yeasty freshness.

Very pale. No head. The aroma is basically straight-up graininess. Grainy taste with a finish that hints at minerally.

Draught in Chisinau [APR 21, 2009]. Golden colour with a lasting white head. The usual industrial lager, a bit thin and watery and quite tasteless. Easy to drink and no unpleasant aromas.

50cl bottle in Chişinău. Straight from the bottle at a random café. Pale golden with a white head. The usual grainy aroma with notes of cooked vegetables. and hints of grass. More body than the lighter ones, and not too bad in the end. (Backlog: tasted 2009-04-13)

500ml bottle, purchased in Chisinau for the Back to USSR Session, 17. Aug. 2010. Clear straw coloured body, spare head, that leaves spots on the surface. Whiff of flowers and fruits, which is suddenly and totally drowned by the smell of alcohol. Sweet taste of corn, cereal, potato and cheese. Fizzy carbonation and foamy in the mouth. The taste of alcohol is hidden, though, however it contributes to a metallic finish.

0,5 can from Supermarked in Chisinau. Dark straw coloured body, leaves a crochet- like lacing on the glass. Caramel aroma with notes of herbs, but the flavour is disappointing. Sweet cream caramel, and a sense of wet toilet paper finish. Watery, soggy and flat. Shared at Back to the USSR Session 17. Aug. 2010.

0,5 can, purchased in Chisinau. Shared at Back to the USSR Session in Tårnrommet Aug. 17. 2010. Straw coloured body, with soapy head and fair lacing. Fruity hops aroma, with notes of pineapple and sweet plum. Sweet wine flavour. Tastes like cooked carrots and cabbage in the end. Thin and a bit bland, but drinkable...

0,5 bottle brought from Chisinau, sampled at the Back to the USSR session (Session X) in Tårnrommet Aug. 1. 2010. Clear golden body, soapy head and beautiful lacing. Sweet fruity aroma of apricot, banana and overripe pear. The taste is disappointing, though. It reminds me of old cheap bread, dust and paper. But the retro design bottle is stylish!
