Tap at The Warehouse, Chongqing, China. Pours black, with limited, fine brown foam. Aroma is rich and sweet, is vanilla, nutty, licorice. Body is rather thick, sticky, with moderate carbonation. Taste is intense, with quite a sweetness, but also some nice roastiness. Final is dense, rich, gratifying. A great beer!

Keg at AUV, Tianjin. Cloudy straw colour, small head. Intense aroma of grass, grapes, pineapple and gooseberries. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and mildly husky with lots of pspaya, pineapple and grapes. Low bitterness.

--Keg at Honey & Malt, Chengdu. -- Black, small beige head. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. Very sweet with full body and rounded, sticky mouthfeel. Chocolate, coffee beans and loys of syrup. Sticky finish with black malt bitterness. Oversweet, but for a pastry stout it stays reasonably tolerable, and with lovely concetrated coffee/chocolate flavour luring somewhere under the syrupy sweetness.
