On tap at Matute, pours a deep dark mahogany brown with a small beige head. Aroma is very malty and rich, with intense caramel malt, toffee, honied malt, etc. Flavour is extremely rich, with intense caramel malt, toffee, syrup, and brown sugar. Very thick palate and somewhat boozy, but this works pretty well.

On tap at Matute, pours a cloudy golden with a small white bead. Aroma reveals tart grapefruit, some seltzery notes, and a touch of esters. Flavour is very strange, with estery grapefruit notes and some banana. This doesn't work at all.

On tap at Matute, pours a hazy bright amber with a small beige head. Aroma has a nice resinous, earthy hop character, with a bready malt base. Flavour is very bitter, with lots of resinous hops that have been used to death, with a dry bready malt base. Very bitter finish. A little rough but not bad. Solid.

On tap at Matute, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt and some muffled earthiness. Flavour is earthy and roasty, but has a weird milky undercurrent running though it, more like a milk stout. Not very bold or complex but not bad.

On tap at Matute, pours a cloudy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is very muffled—fuck off, kveik yeast—with earthy hops, muddled soupy yeast, and some hopburn. Flavour is not as bad as expected, with tropical stone fruits, yeast soup, and some citrusy hops. I usually loathe both hazies and kveik beers, so it's a miracle I don't hate this. I don't love it either.
