Bottle. Pours a golden color with a white head.. Has a fruity grainy bready aroma. Sweetish malty grainy flavor with some weak hoppy hints. Has a sweetish grainy bready finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Small, disappearing beige head over deep brown beer with orange reflections. Bready, with quite some fruity notes, dark malts and peanutsflower, sweetish. Much drier, nearly stoutish flavour with still a lot of sweetness underneath. Touch of liquorice, wood, dark bread. Quite carbonated MF, bit slick, light body, appearing to be denser than it really is. Not so bad, if a bit unremarkable; but certainly significantely better than most Slovak Tmavy’s tried so far. Thanks to the Urselian Slovak crew!

Very good dense & fine head over bright metallic-golden beer. Herbal & flowery aroma, pale malts. Head has iron in the mouth!, hops are quite present, but quite metallic-tasting. Pale malts underneath, but quite undistinctive. Light body, well-carbonated, and very watery, utterly dull finish - just metallic bitterness lingering. Finish is really disappointing, though the start promised better. Wonder if the quality went down after the move to Hurbanovo - the beer following? Thanks to the Slovak friends!

Fluffy dark-beige head, disappearing over cola-coloured beer. Thick dark malts & liquorice nose, sweet-woody, dark leaves and bread. Sweet, bready, like a light or mild version of a Dunkler Bock. Dark caramel and somewhat drier, woody finish. Very light body, grist slickness, watery finish. Aftertaste is liquorice as japwater . Mild Dunkel. Txs to the Urselian Slovak crew!

Medium, just off-white head over deep yellow-golden beer. Plain grainy nose, pale malts but not sweet-smelling, rainwater, garden herbs and unripe hopcones. Toasted malts, with a bit of tannines (?), as a slightly wry bitterness, not hoppy. Malt sweetness takes a lot of warming up to come through, and remains very demure. Really dry Pilsner, touch of astringency, feels more carbonated than it looks. Certainly better than average lager, but not really great. Thanks to the Slovak gang!!

Surprisingly for a low-alcohol, the mix of hops and grains makes for an aroma almost approaching normal beer! Colour is boring yellow, and the taste is definitely wet bread, but closer to grains. Decent mouthfeel. One of the best low-alcs I’ve had.

Found in Bratislava. Aroma is spicy, hoppy smell that is helped not hindered by the alcohol. Flavour is smooth and a simple mix of hops and grains. Uninteresting finish. Okay for what it is, but it’s nothing memorable.

Ah, Kelt - you can buy a 1.5Litre jug of it for 2 Euros if I remember correctly, and who does, after drinking 1.5 litres of this stuff? Has a soft aroma of hops and malts. Drank from a can, but I think the colour is dark amber, not entirely sure. The taste is a sort of meaty barley, as if someone mixed sausage in with the beer. Nonetheless I still found it a little too watery, but think that overall it’s an average sipping beer.

Aroma is an okay combination of hops and grain. Has an average yellow tint to it. Flavour is bitter wood, then soft, and goes down easy. Very nice mouthfeel and finish, and a refreshing beer.
