Clear yellow color. Aroma is quite sweet, hoppy and herbal. Bit watery taste, but easy to drink. Decent pilsner.

American Bottled version. Light yellow, bubbly with lots of foamy head. Dosent smell like much. Taste is fluffy, bubbly and has that weak stale hops flavor of a poor tasting lager. I kept giving it a chance. I suppose you could make the case that it tastes like biting into an apple (one of those small red/green ones). But its not acidic or very bitter, just fluffy and weak/watered down. I ended up pouring it out. Disgrace to my ancestral homeland. blah.

Bronze. Moderate bitterness. Hints of herbs, cherries, forest. Heineken made the best Slovak lager of the session - that is sad.

Appears to be the dumbed down top selling lager in Slovakia. As such it's not bad at all, but as far as Slovak pilseners goes it's the least tasty. It's golden coloured, only moderately hoppy, rather clean, and with medium bitterness.

This is an old rating for me too. An old favourite in fact. It's golden coloured and very hop aromatic. The flavour is grassy, near smokey and a tad oily. Just as I like my Czechish/Slovak pilseners.

Now this is a very old rating...a decent pilsner with a grassy-hoppy accent. Good malt profile, but it stayed in the background. Full body.

Deep gold colour, low visible carbo. Saazy, grassy aroma with bready malts underneath and a slight mineral note. Moderate bitterness with a hint of something iron/mineral/chalk - not entirely sure which but something alkalide anyway. Some grassiness. Finish starts wet, but dries out...and yes I know that sounds rather self-evident but I'm talking about the palate not the physical impression of liquid passing over your tongue then ceasing to do so.
