2018 can to snifter.
Appearance: thick black color with a small cap of a tan foamy head which slid off and barely left any lace
Aroma: rich thick dark chocolate and milk chocolate malts, sweet cream, bourbon barrel woodiness, vanilla
Flavor: blends the aromas sweetly and adds in some roasty coffee tones; mild aftertaste of barrel woodiness, coffee and chocolate tones
Texture: medium to full bodied, great sipper, smooth clean woody dry finish
Overall: an absolutely wonderful imperial stout well worthy of returning to.

Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: golden yellow color which is transparent with a two finger white foamy head and dissipated mildly to leave some messy lace
Aroma: clean malty corn sweetness, subtle hints of grass and hay
Flavor: sweet blending the corn, grass and hay; not much of any aftertaste but seemed somewhat corn-like and grassy
Texture: light bodied, absolutely sessionable, clean corn-like finish
Overall: it's well brewed, cleanly made and would go with any food one would want to have with it. I would have again.

Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting XVI (Last Call) on 10/09/2025. Hazy straw-gold pour with a medium frothy white head that diminishes steadily to a dense film. Strings of lace. Aroma of funky yeast, stone fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal yeast, pawpaw fruit, yeast and doughy malt. The finish is funky pawpaw and yeast. Pretty good overall.
