330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Aromas of green apple, light yeast, light bread. Taste has some spice, bread sweetness. Finishes a bit thin and abrupt, but decent enough.

Kveldens siste flaske delt med Ovesen på Holmens bryggedag feb-14: rødlig kobberfarge med klassisk belgisk højt skum. Fersken, mango og villbringebær i aroma og smak. Alkoholen varmer bakerst i ganen. God.

The darker version of the classic Satan Gold, since 1992. Peach blonde with medium thick, quite stable head and bready and nutty malt character, adorned with some orange peel fraîcheur, sweetish, otherwise fairly neutral and a bit metallic; some herbal hops in the finish add balance. In all: a bit bland actually, I prefer Satan Gold over this.

Clear golden colour. Aroma has a metallic edge. Flavour has a yeasty tang. Quite an easy to drink and refreshing beer.

Pours a bit darker shade of golden, topped with average white head. Malty aroma, mostly, some notes of alcohol quite easy to pick up. Taste starts sweet and malty, bitterness in the finish as well as some unpleasant alcohol notes. Not to my liking.

Gyllengul färg med lätt vitt skum. Doftar typ ingenting. Smakar lika lite. En skitöl på ren svenska.

Authentic and old school abbey tripel for the Dendermonde abbey, with peach blonde colour and thin off-white head; caramelly malts, estery fruitiness, yeasty, soft herbal hop bitterishness in the finish, good balance between fruity sweetness and bitterness. Ordinary but decent, like so many Belgian tripels.
