Bottle from Half Time (2008/01/08). Pours a hazy, diry amber with a frothy 3 finger white head. Aroma is red berry fruity, but there’s something that made me think of Homocebrin (which had a little cod liver oil I think). Med body; frothy carb. I’m going with mixed red berry for flavor. Another weird departure in the Belgian beer world.

C&C 750 mL bottle shared by Butters at Butters Slutfest 2.0, Richmond, VA, 4.23.11. Pours a slightly hazy pale golden color. Very pale. Medium sized creamy head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of grainy and bready notes with faint hops. The taste is sweet grainy notes, a bit of bread and a fruity finish. Medium bodied.

More amber to orange then red colour. Smells like malts, but is lacking a bit in smell. Tastes a bit sweet and quite fresh. Mouthfeel is active, not too much co2, but it’s walking the edge.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Discreet aroma of pale malt, a yeasty and restrained fruity touch. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malt-character with traces of honey and fruits; sweet and slightly bitter finish. No revelation. 05.VII.11
