Bottled (BB 04/2009)
Clear pinky-copper color, big cloudy white head. Aroma is not very strong: candy lemonade or lavander and citrus. Same kind of herbal lemonady rasberry and rosewater flavor. Plastic, artifical. Fizzy. Quickly vanishing aftertaste. Odd brew.

Starts off as a gusher. Frothy, pink tinged head. Murky, peachy-pink body. Good lacing on the head. Aroma is pretty nice too with raspberry, yeast, rotting fruits and sugar. Now the bad: it is undrinkably salty and very yeast forward. Mouth feel is dry, dry, dry. A complete drain pour, that started off looking and smelling fine. A brewing mistake? A crappy bottle? Bad recipie? I am not sure, but the stuff in my glass was horrible.

330 ml bottle. Almost clear, pale golden body with thin white head. Aroma is sweet, yeasty, spice with some alcohol. Flavor is very sweet, some malt, quite spicy and alcohol. A bit sticky body, and much too sweet to be balanced.

Pours bright amber into a Trappist glass. Fluffy off-white micro head with excellent retention leaves sheet lacing as it slowly recedes. Dusty pit fruit aromas. Smooth, metallic caramel and fig upfront which turns to a lasting bitter, twangy citrus and alcohol burn.

bottle (2008/10/14). Yeasty, spicey apple aroma. Hazy dark gold color with a loose white head. Medium body with smooth, nearly creamy carbonation. The flavors are yeast, touch of honey, hot spice or pepper, some appleskin. Finish is quite dry and something like old yeast in sparkling wine. It is a very tasty ale.
