They are loved by such a great deal of connoisseurs all over the world, as well in Europe, Japan, Canada, United States, Australia, ... and this makes the job worth to do.

bottle - Pours hazy gold with a one finger head and a light citrus and yeast aroma. It tastes sweet with a little bit of citrus and has a very lively palate. It’s medium bodied and finishes with some alcohol in there. It’s ok, but I was hoping for more in a tripel.

Bottle as Ne Kasseistamper Alc. 9.0%. Clear medium orange color with a small size particles, a average, frothy / creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, moderate light heavy hoppy, orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (101207)

Pours gold into a tulip. Fluffy white head recedes to skim surface. Dried citrus from front to back. Slightly hoppy. Gave me a headache.

Bottle at Akkurat, Stockholm Beer Festival 2007, after festival RB night
As Ne kasseistamper, 9% ABV
Hazy golden color. Sweet malt aroma, a bit flowery. Good body strength, almost a Triple, just a bit more malty, with some spices; light astringency. A good de Proef - like one.

Amber with a great creamy white lasting head. Aroma shows signs of alcohol, yeast, malts/fruits. Medium soft mouthfeel , yeast & a fruity sour note. Creamy lacings. Light sweet & overall very drinkable!

Bottle. Clear yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate yeasty, light suger, light spicy. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is lively to soft. A bit borring ! (051007)

Bottle, 8%. OK fruity aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Big stable rocky white head. Plastic flavour, perhaps a little iron. Slightly rough bitterness. All in all OK spicy with a nice enough drinkability.

Pours a clear amber into a Trappist glass. Little to no head on vigorous pour...rather sickly looking. Slight candi and sour malt aromas. Carbonated, musty, citrusy sour and alcoholic.

Bottle: Poured a reddish brown amber color with a tan color creamy head, reminds me of a fluffy pillow. The aroma is sweet malt and some hints of hoppiness. Taste is a sweet malt with some fruit flavor. The finish is dry and candy like to the palate.

Big white coarse-laced head. Hazy light orangey body. Fruity, yeasty, peppery aroma with herbal, soft metallic notes. Sweet peppery herbal soft metallic taste with tobacco notes. Spicy, peppery mouthfeel. Dryish delicate soft metallic aftertaste. The alcohol is not noticeable at all, probably hidden by the peppery feeling. Anyway, this is delicate and nice, but not a great beer. (0.33l bottle from the Wine monopoly, Oslo.)
