Keg at BD Waterloo, 10/05/23. Peachy pinkish orange with a faint crimson cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is melon, grass, light herb, pink berry must, faint Sabro notes. Taste comprises mixed red berries, hibiscus, herb, hedgerow, grass, perfume, peach, light mango strains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with light juicy hop bitterness. Not bad.

Keg at BrewDog Waterloo, 27/04/23. Clear golden blonde with a white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is white grape, vanilla stained oak, herb, funk, tangy fruit esters. Taste comprises green berry must, lactic tang, sweet and soured caramel effect, vanilla, barnyard notes, hay bale, funk, dusty oak. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow acidic spike. Not a huge fan of pastry sours but this worked well and sipped easy for 8%.

Keg at BrewDog Waterloo, 27/04/23. Golden blonde with a good sized white head. Nose is tangerine, melon, grapefruit, caramel malts, pine nip, grass. Taste comprises melon, papaya, grapefruit, flash of mango, grass, lightly toasted malts, pine needle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly aggressive grassy hop bitterness allied to a balanced rising boost. Decent enough Old Skool leaning DIPA.

Leg at BD Castlegate. It pours clear amber with a decent off -white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, sappy, papaya, melon, caramel, Hubba bubba, caramel and candy. The taste is drying, toothy, chewy, bitter - sweet, papaya, guava, peppery spice, floral, soapy, tannin, chalky, guava, prickly spice, pithy, zesty, waxy peel, boozy warmth and some peppery spice with a drying finish.. medium body and moderate carbonation. Fun stuff. Old school.

Keg at BD Waterloo, 02/03/23. Hazed orange with a decent off white head that retains well. Nose is orange zest, melon, breads, soft malts, papaya. Taste comprises bitter orange, papaya, hint of grapefruit, light breads, pine nip. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, drying close spliced with juicy to light resinous hop bitterness. Not bad ... carries a decent bitter edge and doesn't run too sweet.

Tap at brewdog Waterloo. A jet black brown coloured pour with a lasting khaki covering. Aroma is woody roast, earthy, light char, hint of ash. Flavour is composed of nutty toasted malts, earth, char. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, mellow carbonation. Solid porter no wow.

Keg at BD Waterloo, 08/02/23. Black with a good sized lasting tan head. Nose is dark malts, toffee, dried fruit rinds, mellow roast. Taste comprises chocolate biscuit, brown sugar dusting, raisins, fruit slice, brown bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Tidy well rounded porter.
