Gambit Brewing Company
Microbrewery in St. Paul, Minnesota, United States 🇺🇸
Josh Secaur
It began with a large pot, some pre-packaged hops and a whim in the early 2000s. It became a hobby with friends, but as they each sold their brewing rigs or put their kettles in storage, Josh Secaur kept brewing. So many different recipes and styles were put to the test. Some were winners, a few were duds, but there was always a fresh brew on tap at the Secaur Homestead to ensure a hearty welcome. In 2020, he joined Bobtown Brewery in Roberts, Wisconsin, as head brewer honing his skills to meet the local demand. That is also where he met Mike Christensen, Gambit’s General Manager. Josh’s aim is to brew beers that can be enjoyed by each person who walks through Gambit’s door.
Mike Christensen
His ability to create a welcoming atmosphere in any situation is Mike Christensen’s superpower. He’s traveled the United States, establishing BW3 locations across the country, making friends everywhere he stopped. A desire to put his imprint in his community led him to open Bobtown Brewery in Roberts, Wisconsin, in 2016. Opening Gambit Brewing in St. Paul, Minnesota, is a natural extension of Mike’s desire to create community and connection.
