About
IF A 1857 GERMAN IMMIGRANT BREWER WOKE UP TODAY, WHAT BEERS WOULD THEY MAKE ON OUR MODERN SYSTEM WITH CURRENTLY ACCESSIBLE RAW MATERIALS?
We start with classic German styles, use as much traditional malt and noble hop varieties as we can source, then add some heritage inspired malts & hops for that New World experience. The result — a modern interpretation of classic styles, informed by tradition and place. And all of our beers are unfiltered.

Sololid German pils. Well hopped with hops i do not quite recognize. A spicy hop bite and dry malt, with noticeable lager yeast. It is not the best pils in town but near the top.

At Waldmann. This one was a little disappointing. Dar, opaque amber color. Some head. Minimal banana and clove aroma, and far too dry for the style with very low flavor overall. It looks goos but needs some worm.

On draight.dark amber color. Malt and nuts,. Some sweet flavor up front that fades into a dry grain earthy, some roasted, smoky quality. Good dunkel.
