On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber with lasting ring of off white foam. The aroma is light with mildly roasted maltiness and not much else. The taste has a sweet caramelized maltiness followed up by mild breadiness and some faint fruity esters. The taste becomes mildly hoppy with not so much bitter hops as a sense of sweeter pine hop flavor. I then get grainy and sweet malts breaking up the hops into the finish.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a rich looking clear amber with lasting light tan foam ring. I see nice lacing too. The aroma is light with roasty to sweet malts. The taste starts with light and fresh malts that become increasingly maltier and accented by spice to floral hops. The initial taste is fresh crisp pale malts followed by roasty malts and a bread note with drops of caramel. The hops intercede for a while and fade a bit but add balance into the after taste.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours as the name suggests, a clear deep golden color with bright white head. The aroma is pale malts mixed with a grainy breadiness. I’m not sure if it is to style but it smells good. The taste is much like the aroma with pale and grainy malts mixed with a pulse of sweeter malts. There’s a mild spice hoppiness in there too. It ends a bit thin and watery.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a fully opaque hazy straw color with lasting ring of white foam. The aroma is full for a hefe with a blast of citrus lemon, banana, mild bubble gum backed up by a hint of grainy Munich type malts. The flavor is much the same with an initial tart lemon note that lingers to the finish and beyond. Then sweet sugary malts enter along with mild banana and vague spices.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep amber with nice off white head and sheet lacing. Looks very nice sitting there in the glass. Adequate aroma of roasted crystal malts and some fresh pale malts. The taste is much the same and comes across as a very nice amber rather than a brown ale. I get rich roasted malts with only faint malt astringency followed by some crystal malts, sweet maltiness and a whisper of caramel. Also a faint pine hop flavor carrying mild bitterness toward the finish where it grows to something just more than faint. The brew leaves mildly roasted malts behind into the after taste.

Draught. Lekker floral hop flavour. Orange with lasting foamy head. Refreshing bitter flavour with floral notes. Full mouth feel and lasting finish. Seek this one out.

Clear golden body. Thick, low head. Fresh malty aroma with light herbal hops. Er...fruity, off-flavour of too warm fermentation. This smelled so promising but really came unglued. Damn.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a nice off-white head. Fruity, grapefruit aroma. Nice grapefruit and slight tropical fruit flavor with pine and a bit of caramel. Lingering pine and grapefruit. Slightly creamy mouthfeel, medium/full bodied.

Red colour. Slightly toasty aroma. A little bit malty on the palate. Full enough body despite not having much flavour. Slightly earthy finish. You won’t really notice this beer over the course of the pint but you’ll enjoy it at least a little bit.
