On Tap at DK Very pale amber with a slight white head and wisps of lacing. Very light grain aroma and slight hop note. Flavor was a very pale grain, abit of cereal and paper, swetened with honey. Papery aftertaste and slightly sweet all around. A very clean light feel, a bit wattery perhaps witha rather lively carbonation.

On Nitro Tap at the brewpub. Dark brown but clear and dense cramy light tan head, thanks to the nitrogen. Wisps of sheeting lacing as I swirled the glass a bit. Moderate dark roasted flavors and a rich smooth feel. A nice offering.

On Tap at the brewpub. That beer pic is no joke. The thing looks like a milkshake. Lots of the clasic German Hef aromas. Soft fuits, cloves, mildy sweet yeast and, yes..bananas. The feel is soft and carbonation is a bit low. Easy drinking, classic and flavorfull for the style.

On Tap at the brewpub. Hazy light amber, with a modest white head. Very fragrant citursy hops aroma that is strong but not harsh. Flavor is what I expected and the maltiness is a fair balance. After their sampler tray, this is what I had to have w/ my lunch. Full soft body, and perfect hopy slightly bitter trailer. It was worth the hype. Delish

On Nitro Tap at the brewpub. Black with a thin creamy (nitro) head. Thin traces of lacing. Dark, charcoaly aroma and a dark roasted but rather pale flavor. Medium fel and not quite what I was hoping for.

Drawn off the top of the keg, which they assure me makes for the yeastiest imaginable brew. It definitely seems that way. It looks more like a milkshake than anything related to beer. More hefe than weizen on the palate, too, along with wheaty tartness, phenols and banana notes. Big-bodied and complex, with a spicy finish. Beats the previous record for opaqueness, held by Uzbekistan’s Gambrinus Nefiltrovane.

Straw colour. Slightly lemony, a little grainy aroma. Mainly tart pale malt notes and not a lot else. Superfluous.

Very dark brown colour with cream-coloured nitro head. Slight roast notes in the scant aroma. Very malty character. Smooth body. Slight coffee and nuttiness but otherwise just a lot of sweet pale malt character.

Nitro. Bright golden brown with fake nitro head. No particular aroma. Vaguely nutty, sweet malty flavour with hints of brown sugar. Sweet, quick finish. Another nitrokilled ale.
