Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were citrus fruits, mango, peach and low bitterness. Aftertaste had zesty fruits and bitterness. Tasty.

Can at CBJ Tasting. Opaque g9ld. Thin foamy translucent white head. Aroma is fruity and spicy with a spicy streak. Flavourwise it's big and fruity with a resinous edge. Light-medium bodied
Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish.

Can at home shared with Laura. Opaque black color, quickly diminishing head. Aroma is heavy coffee and distant chocolate. Quite lovely. Flavor is malts, again heavy coffee but also sweet notes, vanilla perhaps, with firm chocolate as well in the finish. In the end I must admit, the sweetness is quite high. Nice firm coffee and chocolate without a doubt but I would've liked it to be a little less sweet.

Can from at CBG. Aroma had stone fruit and citrus with a sour edge. Hazy pineapple orange. Thin foamy translucent white head. Flavourwise it has syrupy canned fruit with a bitter spicy edge and some citrus sourness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Easy drinking Triple.

440ml can. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, small to average, frothy to creamy, fading, tan head. Chocolately, minimally roasty, dark malty, slightly nutty and minimally spicy aroma, hints of vanilla, toasted coconut, chocolate sauce and coffee, some caramel, whiffs of tonka and brown sugar, overtones of wafers, cookie dough. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately, slightly roasty, dark malty, slightly nutty and spicy, doughy and minimally alcoholic, notes of cookie dough, hints of chocolate, coffee, vanilla, toasted coconut, a touch of brown sugar, caramel, tonka; slightly warming, alcoholic finish.
Viscous texture, smooth and soft, cloying palate, fine, creamy, soft to flat carbonation.
Well composed and executed Imperial Pastry Stout, nothing to complain about; but more coffee, less vanilla in the mix should have met my penchant better.
