Keg at Catraio Craft Beer Shop, Porto, 27/10/22. Black with a khaki head that thins to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, toffee, toasted brown sugars. Taste comprises cocoa powder, mellow roast, light spice, tangy fruit rinds. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boost offered. Not bad if lacking some depth for the ABV.

Draught from a sample tray at Armazem da Cerveja. Low off-white head, clear amber-brownish body, fair lacing. Promising smell with leafy hops and caramel malts. Similar taste character; caramel, leafy hops, and a ripe fruity ending. Medium bodied. Decent. (Porto, 11.09.2023).

Very nice stout. Coffee and musk. Lots of roast. Black pour with some mocha head. Bittersweet finish with a little caramel. Good stuff, and well balanced. The kind of impy I like. Tap at Cerveteca.
