Bottle. Cloudy, orange liquid with big off-white head. Aroma is nicely hoppy with notes of grapefruit, citrus, rosé pepper, tropical fruit, blackberries, bread and caramel malt. Taste is dry with medium bitterness and notes of biscuity malt and some fruity hops. Some peppery action as well. Medium bodied with nice carbonation and smooth mouthfeel. Decent IPA. The pink pepper works well together with the rest of the beer.

Cloudy brown beer. Crispy palate, a tad dry. Smoky malt is immediately evident, but not overpowering. Smoke is well integrated with the fruit and the malt and this the smoke is balanced nicely. Finishes dry and with more of the same. Very drinkable.

75cl bottle shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah at QDT’12. Hazy, murky, opaque orange color, average sized, mostly diminishing, fair lacing, off-white to beige head. Smells light to moderately malty, lightly hops, flowers, apple and oranges. Taste moderately sweet, lightly bitter, lightly soap and again oranges. Low body, low carbo.

Bottle from Birratrovo, Como
Cloudy blond color, with very large head, and nice lace. Aroma of common beer, maybe boring, with light pepper touch, evident, soapy too; later, some noble hop appears. Dry mouthfeel, spicy malt flavor, coriander, with a nice peppery note. Unfortunately it’s not fruity, but the pink pepper is a good idea.

Cloudy amber color with medium sized, compact creamy head. Strong aroma, mainly vanilla and wood, Bourbon whiskey, then malt. Good malt flavor, with toffee, maybe butter, and just moderate bitterness; strong bitterness, biting on the tongue. Good, but apparently the wood is more appreciated than the underlying beer.
