Clear deep nutty pour with a fine tan head Good lacing. Looks nice and inviting Ok intensity in the aroma. Wheat and fruity Balanced ok sweetness and a fine mellow carbonation level Easy drinkable for a beer like this Also some mild acidic notes. Freshens it up a bit Toffee, wheat and dried fruits are the most prominent flavors Quite well masked alcohol level also [On tap @ source]

On tap at the brewpub. It's a hazy orange colored beer with a finger thick, dense white head leaving curtains. The aroma is very piney and grapefruity, with orange zest and pale malts. Some alcohol and floral hints too. It's full-bodied and perhaps a bit heavily carbonated, with a good bitterness and a light warmth. The flavor is just like the aroma quite piney and grapefruity, but with more focus on the orange. Both orange zest and some orange marmalade. Pale malts and some sweetness, along with a touch of alcohol. Orangey, piney finish. Not bad this one, not at all, but it feels a bit untidy in a way. Might be the recipe, might be process related. 210730

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a faintly hazy amber body under a finger thick white head leaving lacing. The aroma is deliciously malty, with a fruity touch. Light toffee, bread, a hint of toast and pine cones, some grassy notes and a generic yeasty fruityness. It's smooth and velvety on the palate, medium bodied and with a light sweetness. The flavor too has a good dash of toffee, borderline butterscotch, with bready malts, hints of toast and coffee, and a pleasant fruityness. Long fruity and toffee-ish finish. A delicious aroma is followed by a nice flavor that isn't on the same level. 210730
