Description
1086 was established in 2018, in the original brewhouse of Cusworth Hall, an 18th century, Grade I, country house in Cusworth, near Doncaster. The brewery shares space with its popular brewery tap, the Old Brewhouse. Beers are available in the taproom, and occasionally at the Leopard in Doncaster.

ABV: 3.9%. Light cloudy - hazy looking, with a medium amber colour with a small, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, nutty, light earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, nutty, sweet malt, caramel, sugary. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20191010]

6/6/2019. Cask at the 28th Doncaster Beer Festival. Pours clear pale brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of sweet toffee, malt, hops, fruit and biscuit. Medium plus sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, very soft carbonation. Bitterness gently increasing in finish. Easy drinking, quite decent.
