12 oz can, listed as Kells Brewery IPA, 6.7%, 60 IBU. Golden orange, soft haze, a bubbling foam head. Rich malt forward aroma. Flavor is a bit soapy. Rich bready malts, a bit too sweet for my IPA liking, but this one is a little different. Interesting brew.

On draught at Old Chicago.

Pours a slightly hazy straw gold, thin head of foam, good retention.

I smell some grain and cracker, bit of hop bitterness.

Taste is earthy malt, grain, a bit bitter, hints of sweet.

Medium body with medium carbonation.

Good beer.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. A light nose of corn and toast. The flavor is more light grainy fizzy notes, not much here. Clean. A bit of perfumy hops maybe. OK.

Part of the kettle sour movement it seems. Pours a clear copper color with a small white head. A sour funky nose. Sweaty sock, some light grain, lemons, a bit of paper. Not really sour, but a bit of funk. Overripe apples. Interesting, light.

Sort of an odd one here. On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark almost totally black color with a medium off-white head. A big licorice and sweet grainy nose. The flavor is similar, a sort of under-attenuated sweetness, licorice, not really much roasted malt. Comes across very raw. Cocoa.

This is a great Guinness clone. Pours a pitch black color with a large off-white nitro head. A light nose of metallic roast and toffee. Very light, nutty, metal, some light chocolates. Big palate. Very drinkable. Solid.
