Draft at Meridian Pint. Hazy to cloudy reddish amber color. Subtle cherry aroma. Taste is tart lightly acidic cherry.

Draft at Tapp’d Bethesda. Poured a slightly hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was a blast of citrus. Lots of orange juice notes, with some bitter orange zest finish on this one. Pretty tasty. Alcohol pretty well masked in this one.

Draft at Falling Branch. What a treat, low esters, some biscuit. But coriander and clean without the pitfalls. Low bitter and not sweet. Heftier body.

Draft at Roast House Pub. A bit bland for the NW palate. But for East Coast, not too shabby. Not overly hoppy, but enough to warrant the style. Gentle hops and strong malt bill. Tasty but mild,

Some citrus and a little pine. Lots of malt. Hazy golden pour. Some bitterness in finish. Decent. Tap at barking dog.

32oz crowler pours a murky black with some cloudy, brown head. Nose has roast, chocolate, mild nuts, some earthy soy. Flavor has malt, toast, chocolate, coffee, some molasses. Dry finish. Very solid.

From a crowler at the DC tasting on March 25, 2016. Poured a dark brown color with a tan head on top of it. Lots of bitter chocolate flavor with some very pleasant coffee notes. Flavor was nice bitter chocolate, coffee. Tasty.

Crowler shared at the DC Tasting on 3/25/2016. Thanks Travlr! Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of big coffee, toasty notes, dark chocolate. Tastes of coffee, dark chocolate, toffee, roasty notes. My first from these guys and a pretty well done coffee stout!
