For me, it was not a grand cru, huge white and Vesuvian white foam, sour, rough at the palate, side of sour lychee, sparkling, 15.12.19, buying it at Wittich, Olten, tasting it at Epalinges.

Sample at Solothurner Biertage, may 2019. Unclear golden body with a small white head. Aroma is apple, some wood and slightly funky acidic. Flavor is very refreshing, both sweet and acidic apple with some pleasant funk and cellar notes. Medium body and average aftertaste. Nice and refreshing.

Sample at Solothurner Biertage, may 2019. Unclear, deep golden body with a solid off-white head. Aroma is malt, bread, citric fruit, oranges and ripe fruit. Flavor is sweet malt, some caramel, bread, citric fruit, ripe fruit, oranges, some biscuit and decent bitterness. Medium body with a sweet and fruity bitter aftertaste. Nice, slightly old style IPA with a distinct malt base.

Sample at Solothurner Biertage, may 2019 as Drei Tannen Honey Pine Lager. Unclear golden body with a medium sized white head. This was a bit funny, both aroma and taste has both distinct lager aroma and flavor, but also a distinct part of honey. It’s not really integrated in flavor it’s more like drinking two things at the same time. Quite sweet and also spiced with pine. More like a novelty, not something I could have much of but sure an interesting festival treat.

Für ein Leichtbier sehr aromatisch, dezente, aber doch präsente Hopfennote, eine gewisse fruchtige Hefigkeit. In der Kombination ergibt sich eine leichte, zwetschgige Säure.
