Mostly lacing. Aroma: grapefruit, pine needles and confectionery. Taste: more grapefruit and pine leading to a bitter palate. Medium bodied. Next one, please!

Rybrew: deep gold with white head. Aroma is dank and resinous and piny and grapefruit and the like. Taste is resin, citrus fruitiness, not too sweet, somewhat bitter.

16 ounce can from Lower Merion Beverage. Hazy, pale gold pour. Foamy white head. Zesty, yeasty malt aroma hints at fresh hay. Bready, earthy malt flavor. Notes of lemon and grapefruit pith. Lots of minerality on the palate. Dry citrusy finish.

Sort med beige boblete topp som daler raskt og blir liggende rundt kanten. Aroma; malt, cognac, sjokolade, karamell, whisky, lakrisbåter. Smak; cognac, Lakris, sjokolade, malt, whisky, eik, karamell, alkohol. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Varmer godt nedover halsen. Fyldig, smaksrik, balansert. Spandert av Djoeye. Delt med Djoeye og Leif.

16 ounce can from Capone’s in Norristown, PA. Straw gold color is topped by a large, pillowy white head. Great lacing. Nose is predominantly coffee and vanilla. Flavor is light, pale malt, vanilla, coffee, cinnamon and coconut, as advertised. An interesting amalgamation of flavors that works surprisingly well. Most “Irish Potato “ beers I have tried tend to be overly sweet and/or too strong. This one catches the essence without being overbearing.

Can from Foodery: pours yellow haze with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit, mellow pine, pine, stone fruit. Taste is sweet, lightly bitter, sort of piny. Not bad.
