In a parkfest, Vienna, Austria. Sampled by Kis Salétrom and Szebeni Ászok on the prelude of the 3rd Wiener Bierfest. SZÁ: Hááát! Kukoricát sose szerettem igazán a sörben. Az a vetmalacoknak való, kicsit a savanykás is, de legalább a műanyag pohár fain. KS: A lágersörök közül könnyű kitűnni, neki ez sem sikerült.

Draft @ Hoppalas Bieradies, Vienna. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a longlasting white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma with weak grassy hints. Fruity malty grainy weak grassy flavor with weak yeasty hints. Has a fruity malty grainy finish.

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Marko (thanks!). Dark golden coloured, medium sized white head that went away slowly, odd herbalish meaty nose. Sweet malty, weak hoppy and faint fruity with notes of metal in rather short finish. Typical Austrian macro.

Bottle from the Merkur Markt in Seiersberg, Graz, shared with ogivlado. Poured a golden body with a medium sized fluffy white head that went away slowly. Eggy malty nose, how surprising, vaguely herbal and empty. Sweet honey taste on top of the typical Austrian macro egginess. Slightly sweetish fruity notes, some dull hopppy bitterness. Better than expected but don’t expect wonders.

Draught at the Bieradies. Slightly hazy golden body big lasting white head. Faint, too faint eggy nose. Empty dry honey malty taste. Meh. Light herbal notes. Whoo. ’So empty it hurts.’ I wrote, it wasn’t that bad but too close for comfort.
