An orange beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel - and so is the flavor, while the mouthfeel is a bit sticky.

(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden, clear and filtered. Very malty, grainy flavour and also a pronounced bitterness all the way to the palate. Nice and classical. 301204

I was browsing through my favorite store (has a great selection of beers - for Croatia), and I saw a 0.5l can of this in a cooler. Great, I think, a new beer. I started walking to the counter with one can of this, and I passed a bunch of this on the discount "aisle". I never saw how much this cost, so I took a glance. I stopped in my tracks. A 0.5l can of this cost somewhere around 35 cents(euro). I couldn’t believe my eyes. I immediately ran towards the fridge, and got 3 more. So, how did the beer turn out ? Lovely herbal/malty aroma. Very fizzy, golden colour, typical white head. Nothing special. The taste ? Well, this is where this fell short. Very watery, so, smooth I guess. Some metallic hints (I thought that this was the can, but probably isn’t). You have to strain to get some flavor from this. Maybe a bit malty, but that’s that. It had a long bitter hoppy aftertaste though. I mentioned that I bought 4 bottles, well I gave three to my classmates. 5 out of six said that this was crap. The sixth one likes K-Plus. Enough said. How can a beer have such an aroma, and such an aftertaste without having actual taste.

Tapped. Golden colour, huge white head. Typical lagerish bitter malty/hoppy aroma. Typical lager in flavour too, which mainly was malty with weak metallic hints. One of the poorer Czech beers I’ve had.
