Tap at Off The Wall, Honolulu. Darker reddish colour, small head. Aroma is berries, fruit, tart. Taste is sour, mouth puckering sour, black berries, berries, fruit, fruity aftertaste. Bit too sour for me but not bad otherwise

Fairly dank sticky tons of mangoes and citrus notes. Slightly drier than I would want. Feel the booze at the end. It’s decent, but too boozy despite the nice hop character

On tap at Lokahi, pours a clear blonde with a small white bear. Aroma has a strange mix of ginger and pomegranate upfront, with plenty of yogurt. Flavour has plenty of spicy ginger upfront, backed by plenty of sweet pomegranate and lemon. Too much yogurt, too sweet, and ultimately just a forgettable adjunct kettle sour.

On tap at Lokahi, pours a somewhat hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out spruce tips, light wood, and gentle pomegranate. Flavour is a little bolder, with the same woody spruce tips and pomegranate. Woody, fruity finish. Works alright.

On tap at Lokahi, pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of hops, with some resins and bready malt. Flavour has a nice clean resinous hop character upfront, with a dry bready malt base. Dry, hoppy and bready finish. Good stuff.

On tap at Lokahi, pours a mostly clear dark amber copper with a small white head. Aroma reveals bitter woody hops, plenty of bitter grapefruit peel, and bready malt. Flavour is bitter, with lots of woody resinous hops, pine, grapefruit peel, and plenty of dry bready malt. Lots of west coast bitter goodness. Very good.

Draught at Lokahi: pours opaque haze with white head. Aroma is mild citrus, some berry and stone fruit. Taste is sort of bitter, light sweetness. Better than the other hazy I had there.

Draught at source: pours black with beige head. Aroma is burnt malt with chocolate and a slight cherry hint. More burnt with chocolate, cherry and coconut taking a backseat.

Draught at source: opaque yellow. Aroma is citrusy and tropical. Taste is fairly dry and on the more bitter side for a hazy. Fine.
